Key Features
The test takes 30–60 minutes, depending on the candidate’s level. Modules should be taken within 6 months to show the overall result.
The adaptive algorithm adjusts task difficulty in real time. Early tasks include support mechanisms to reduce guessing and ensure accurate level placement.
Once the test has started, the process is protected from connection loss. Internet access is required only to finalise and submit results.

How Does Cloud Adaptive Testing Work?
Wiseman Skills CAT is based on the classical Computer-Adaptive Testing (CAT) methodology, which uses real-time computational models to adjust task difficulty. When a test taker demonstrates strong performance at a given level, the system presents tasks of higher difficulty. This process continues until the algorithm identifies both:
stable mastery of the current level, and
clear learning needs at the next level.
This approach ensures accurate placement with fewer tasks and reduced testing time.
Test Results
Instant results aligned with CEFR and Wiseman Skills Scale. Test results are generated immediately upon completion and are available through the Wiseman Skills Workspace.
Results are presented both in CEFR levels and Wiseman Skills score points, ensuring clarity for learners, educators, and institutions.
CAT is built as a modular testing system. You can use individual modules or combine them depending on your assessment goals.
A full digital certificate is issued after completing all four modules at an authorised exam centre.
